  5. Willing to be disliked, criticised, and even HATED, LOATHED, and REVILED both by competitors as well as prospects, customers, and clients who won’t follow your rules. And when you do all of the above, you’re gonna make enemies.

First thing we’ll do is the Onboarding Session where we’ll blast through some quick, simple, and easy ways for virtually ANY business to get some lightning-quick wins.

Most business owners have no idea about their ideal client. Most of them don’t even know they have an ideal client and meander through their business lives selling to whomever wanders through their door. Thing is… if you try to be all things to all men and women, you end up being nothing to anyone. Not knowing EXACTLY who you’re selling to is why you struggle to attract high-quality clients.

Even if they know whom they’re selling to, most business owners try to sell the wrong thing.

Consider the average Personal Trainer (I use them as an example

because they, their work, and their marketing is familiar to all of us). Most PTs sell their thing. They’ll wax lyrical to prospective clients about workout routines, diets, and all the kinds of equipment they have access to; smarter PTs sell the result — getting leaner, fitter, and more muscular; but really smart PTs sell the outcome, the high-value benefit they’ll get from losing the weight, etc. (for me, for instance, it was not being the “fat dad” in the playground embarrassing my kids).In this part of the work, we’ll find YOUR outcome and what it does for your clients. Not knowing this is why you struggle to close your clients at a price high enough to make it worth your while.

Once you know whom you’re selling to and what you really do for them, we can figure out what you need to say to them to attract them, and then sell to them at a high fee (until you’re clear on the first two things, your efforts will be lackluster and excruciatingly hit-and-miss).

In the fourth module we dig deep into the fundamental principles of business and marketing (these underpin your pricing, positioning, and systems).

Most business owners confuse and conflate principles with tactics, and that’s why they struggle with, say, LinkedIn and Facebook (long story short: they’re constantly being sold tactical solutions for strategic problems by people who should — but don’t — know better).

Here we turn to pricing. I’ve done so much work on this over the last 12 years — including how to transition your business to Value Based Pricing which I have used to scale multiple 7 figure businesses and escape trading time for money.

The fact is everything you think you know about charging premium pricing is wrong. People will pay whatever you ask them to pay if they want what you’re selling enough. And that’s what I’ll show you how to do — present yourself and your products and services in such a way the price becomes irrelevant.

This is likely going to be a new area of study for you, and essentially encompasses how you arrange for others to see you, and how you see yourself.

Externally, you want to be seen as authoritative, believable, and credible — an “expert advisor” and not the “hired help”; and internally, you need to see yourself in much the same way. You need the confidence, courage, and integrity to ensure both you and your clients follow your rules for doing business.

No one crawls over broken glass to talk to the guy or gal at the bottom of the mountain, after all.
