Secrets To Building High Performing Team

Here’s how a typical entrepreneurial journey goes?

You were good at something, so you started a business.

Soon, you were getting too many customers.

So you hired a few employees and delegated some tasks.

For a minute, you were able to breathe.

Then you come back the next day and find everything in ruins.

You new employees screw something up and now it’s your responsibility to fix it.

Plus, you can’t fire your employees without suffering some loss.

When you fire them, all the time you spent in hiring and training them gets wasted.

Now, you’ll have to spend more time and money to find and train the new employees.

And if you choose to go solo, you’ll never grow.

So, how do you build a high-performing team?

First, you need to look for “PARTNERS” with skills that complement yours

People work seriously when they know the outcome is gonna have an impact on their lives.

You’re a business owner. If the business suffers, you’ll suffer.

But that’s not the case with the employees.

They expect to get paid no matter how the business is doing.

So, look for partners whose skills complement yours and give them a share in profits.

If you’re good at sales, find someone who is a master at delivering customer service.

Second, make sure their values are aligned to yours.

You need to find someone who believes in the same things as you and is working towards a shared vision.

Recently, I did a podcast named “Don’t Be A Relationship D*ckhead”.

We talked about:

✅ Why partnerships are necessary for you to succeed in business

✅ How to build successful business relationships that last for decades

✅ Why most people get nothing out of a business relationship, whether it be with a coach, consultant, team member or a partner.
